ncp905 asked:
Is there a way to make income on a web site or blog from alternative ways other than selling products, clickbank or google products. Aren’t there companies that’ll pay 1 or 2 dollars a month for renting advertising space and pay more if trafffic increases? or picture ads instead of text?

yeah you need to contact each company and tell them you will give them advertising space for $xxx/month. Its usually a couple hundred per month but it depends on how many hits you get and what the web site is.

Yes sure, affiliate marketing through emails is a good source of income. I tried adsense my self but the return is not that offered.
Well, if your customers are abundant there are 3-7% chances that a visitor clicks the ads displayed. But if an email is attractive and reader thinks about it the chance increases to 50%.
Again I suggest some affiliate services good for email marketing.
Please. visit these site or contact to know more about.
But, the potential you own must be utilised properly.
Spamming is untolerable, sometimes all the earning is seized if reported or someone report abuse.
Think it wisely.

1. Join an advertising network. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.
Burst Media
Fastclick (ValueClick).
Advertising.com.
Tribal Fusion
24/7 Real Media
BlueLithium
Casale
MaxOnline
2. Participate in contextual advertising networks. Contextual advertising are text ads delivered based on the content of the web page using an automated system.
Google Adsense
Yahoo! Publishing Network (currently in beta and available to US publishers only)
Intellixt
Quigo Adsonar
IndustryBrains
Commission Junction Evolution
Kanoodle Brightads
Clicksor
Contextweb
Bidclix
3. Sell advertising for your site directly. This is admittedly a more difficult route for a small business site wanting to earn advertising revenues. But hey, as they say: “no pain, no gain!”

There is a new site called G2Bay that you should check out. Basically the idea is that everyone who joins the social networking site gets their own Million Dollar Page. As your profile gets more hits, you make more money through advertisements. You can review products, services like plumbers, doctors, etc., provide a news feed or blog and post photos.
