Sergey Brin and Larry Page: Inside the Google machine
http://www.ted.com Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin offer a peek inside the Google machine, sharing tidbits about international search patterns and the philanthropic Google Foundation project (which soon became Google.org). They talk about how their shared Montessori background led to the company’s “20 Percent Time” policy, which is directly responsible for success stories such as Google News and AdSense. Google’s dedication to innovative thinking and employee happiness is behind everything from the offices’ specially soundproofed projectors (which make it much easier to follow what’s being said in meetings) to the company’s thematically rotating logo.

google is the first choice for internet search because Larry Page and Sergey Brin invented a so called pagerank. A complexed mathemathical algorithm that rankes pages by their relavency. This ground breaking invention made Google the best. And Google is easy to use

They’re not very good at presentations are they? Its a good job its something I’m interested in.
I don’t think any company on Earth should be worth 150b$ but thats the way things are. They are doing a good job

hey they are a company.. they are evil and sneaky, just like Apple and Microsoft
thus linux is “best” because most of the distros are publicly developed

Your wied. From what i understand from your comment above b444hg your saying Google is the best because they have the don’t be evil slogan. Well I disagree. All is blind in how crappy greedy and sneaky google is with internet users money. I know for a fact that I don’t choose to pay google but somewhere my money is going to Google without my choice.

Google and Apple are the two companies, I’ll love to work for.

This was an awesome video. The world needs more companies like Google. They’re forward-thinkers with a true mission, rather than just money-minded companies with no world view.
September 18th, 2007 at 1:24 pm
Without XP, of course the world still have linux and Mac OS, Google could be best because of the “don’t be evil” principle which none company have it
September 24th, 2007 at 2:27 am
You pay google for true non fake hits on adsense and on adwords. Well prove that to me and i will trust google with my money. 10 percent of hits from google adwords and adsense are true but the rest is google giving you fake stats

Correct the pagerank can’t judge how good the website is just based on its traffic ranking. Google uses the pagerank system to place the websites that are high up in the ranks first
September 26th, 2007 at 6:05 am
I disagree I say you can’t have
“THE BEST COMPANY IN THE WORLD” Most used device or utility maybe. Think of Adobe we use there software and there techology everysingle day on the internet. Think about Microsoft and there windows xp if we did not have windows xp could we really run things like we do today.

Google please get rid of this pagerank toolbar. It doesn’t prove anything, as I see great website every day, and the PR they have, doesn’t match the sites at all.
PR actually costs me business. Stop this now.
