Asparagus, this is really great, great job and the idea and result are fantastic !!! I appreciate your hard work and admire the animation. It is perfectly suited to the music. Well done !!!!!
3) If you knew how long it takes to make an animated piece like this, you’d know why I chose the ‘single version’. 3½ minutes is a lot to animate and even more so 7 years ago, when it was made. If I had to animate the ‘full’ version, then it probably never would have gotten made.
2) If I had used the original Don’t Eat the Yellow Snow from Apostrophe as you insist I should have, then it only would’ve gone for 2 minutes. The ‘single version’ is a mixture of Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow, Nanook Rubs It and a few seconds of St. Alfonzo’s Pancake Breakfast.
1) As I mentioned in my first response, the audio used, was NOT edited by me. It’s a ‘single version’ from Frank’s Strictly Commercial CD. So if you’re going to be disappointed at anyone, then it’s Frank.
Editing the song to fit the animation is wrong-Period! Just think how much better it would have been IF Frank’s art/music had been left intact. What a disappointment
The energy and enthusiasm you put into this is commendable-It would have been REALLY something special IF you made the animation fit the ORIGINAL studio version that Frank and the band made. You chose instead to edit out parts of the art they created to fit your animation. That is a shame.
Hey looks like you put a lot of work into the animation and the general look kind of fits the vibe of the song but it appears to have been a mistake to be so literal in interpreting it. I don’t think you needed to have the caracters act out every lyric. Perhaps you could have thought of sub plot so then you could had a pararlel visual story happening. Just one opinion.
I still can’t believe you edited the song short to fit your needs! You chose a Sears poncho over a REAL poncho. How disrespectful of one of the GREATEST artists of our time-Do it right or don’t do it at all.

Dear Stynquone,
Just so you don’t feel the need to write how disappointed you are, I’ll try and clear a few things up…

It was Frank that made the Sears poncho. It’s an officially released ‘single version’.
Respect 🙂 Thanks for watching.
