   In my experience, the best way to learn CSS is by practicing, while keeping a good reference guide on the side.

   Eric Meyer’s book ‘CSS, the definitive guide’ has proved the very best in its kind:.

   I have used this book countless times. It’s thorough and very readable at the same time.
