DBZ is by far the anime with the worst voice actors in Japanese by far….absolutely terrible…and the music…and sound effects. I love Japanese anime with Japanese voice actors but NOT this one at all.
the sound effects are better in Japanese, but I love Sabat screaming “FINAL FLASH” with Faulconer’s super vegeta theme. It’s one of the few moments I think is better in the dub, even though they censored Cell.
THe original’s always the best, thats how it was that how it will be remembered,Chris Sabat did indeed an awesome job and even tho i still prefered the first voice of vegita in the english sub,so u like the english, but honest, everythings better the way it originally was.
Lol no… USA version are trying to sound all heroic… like g.i joe characters… they lost all the horizont about what makes DBZ truly epic. Japanese Vegeta sounds way more badass and noble than that shitty WWF voice of USA Vegeta.
i dont get it why in all the diffrent languages have this unchange music, and when it comes to the amrican version they fucking put rock on it,fuck that shit,i love the latino version
Anything Vegeta related is cool. Chris Sabat did an awesome fkn job. BUT the jap sound effects are much more visceral. You lose that in the heavy metal guitar licks on the us version. But Bruce Faulconer is awesome too.
i think vegeta could’ve hit super saiyan 3,if he charged for 4 more minutes, did you see his hair?
thats probably the closest thing we are going to get.
at least they made up a reason this time. freeza saw rocks levitating, the sky turning dark, and goku’s hair going up and just stood there (after nearly dying), goku took like 30 secs.
Please stop. Grown men sounding like 8-years olds on a sugar rush is not better than the American dubs. The only thing this has over the American version is the sound effects sound heavier and more powerful on the Japanese dub. I bought the digitally remastered season 5 of DBZ in which you can listen to American dub with Japanese music and sound effects. Chris Sabat’s Final Flash yell combined with the Japanese music and sound effects was perfect. Better than both singular versions.
Even though I generally prefer the original, theres one small part in particular where I prefer the dub: “Okay, that’s one explanation! How ’bout this one: VEGETA’S LOST HIS MIND AND HE’S GONNA FRY US ALL!”
i think the english puts more emotions into the battling parts but its sucks when they change the anime by a little bit like they did with naruto i no naruto doesnt say “you better believe it” every time he talks that just makes it worse

Ryo Horikawa as Vegeta’s seiyu is 100X better than Cristopher Sabat. Point is Japanese dub is better than English!

Hey it was a pimp attack; if he aimed a little to the right he would have won.

The reason that cell is standing still is sxplained retards…. Vegeta says:”If you wanna test your strength, then don’t move!”

wow…he just spent 4 minutes charging that attack. that’s over 10% of the episode >_>.

I like how everytime someone charges for an epic attack the villian just stands there 😛

I agree, The Japanese VA’s put much more emotion into this show.
