I think I heard about this movie from AotS on G4. Gotta love the MMA-style fighting. I saw some grappling moves that I’m more familiar with, and those made me get into the fight a lot more. I’d love to get my hands on this vid.

Love the way they fight. Pretty sure he is using judo for his grapples. I own the thai dub version…kinda wish it wasn’t but still amazing. The beginning of this with the arm bar and stuff reminds me of ufc lol anyways great movie

I’m living in tangier and didn’t have anychance to see matt Damon 🙁
I love this movie cuz of donnie’s fight style

lol, I agree that this scene is way better than the one in Bourne Ultimatum, but come on. If Rythome says it reminds him of that scene, why argue with him?
October 4th, 2007 at 10:58 pm
Er..no it doesn’t Rythome! The bathroom fight in The Bourne Ultimatum is shit compared to this. You can’t see anything in that fight clip because Matt Damon is not a real martial artist so its cut edited to hell in order to cover up his inadequacy.

The first couple of minutes of the fight reminded me of the Tangier fight from The Bourne Ultimatum.

Where the hell do Donnie and Collin get there speed from? They can totally keep up with each other during the entire battle!
Donnie’s wind up punches are the best and that grappling stuff was amazing!
October 12th, 2007 at 10:34 pm
Ain’t nothing wrong with that. It’d be cool to see a female doin the stuff that Donnie does. I saw his sister Chris fight and she’s good, but her methods are different from her big brother’s.

They need to bring that in America. I love his fighting i want to learn from him. Even though im a woman.
October 18th, 2007 at 11:25 am
Bad motherfucking shit. I hate what America has done to martial arts movies, cause this is what it’s really about.

this is the almost like a real fight this is what i call reality better than tony jaas fight scenes. Donnie yen one of the best coreographers.
October 24th, 2007 at 1:57 am
Collin Chou sure is extremely skilled at Martial Arts, sheer speed is extraordinary.
October 26th, 2007 at 4:45 am
Actual jabs and hooks in a martial arts movie.
Also low kicks, sprawling, triangles, armbars, thai clinch, side control, knees to the body, dirty boxing, suplexes, uchi-mata, RNCs with hooks in!, takedowns and hockey fighting.
If this becomes the standard I’d be happy.
October 28th, 2007 at 4:25 am
They add speed to MMA…looks great.

This is my favorite fight scene of all time. Good fusion of traditional martial arts, practical self defense, grappeling, and good ole’ fight scene magic. THe movie was a very very good one, but this final fight alone made this movie a 10/10, hands down.
