they should redo final fantasy’s 7 through 9 with voice overs and better in game graphics at the least, but if they did would she get the voice of julia?

this is the first FF i’ve played and i must say, it gave me a really good first impression/generalization of the whole FF series. what made it more memorable is this song. you’re not a real FF fan if you have not memorized it’s lyrics.

I know what you mean, but it’s inevitable really… This was the theme for the game and it got the popularity through it. Hell, this even makes use of the cutscene from the game…!

Junctioning was not hard/confusing. It’s really simple once you invest time “drawing”. The plot was really simple: you’re students who become mercenaries. I wanna say more…but I don’t want to uhm…spoil it.

As in you stopped and started at 7? If you played 1-6 I’m sure the junctioning would have been a breeze! 🙂

I never liked FF8 because it was too hard with the Junctioning, etc. Plus the plot was too confusing and I counldn’t get into it. I stopped with the series at 7.

yeah thats it… I also like FF8 coz its great.. even FF7 and FF10, I’m not against it, but if you compare FF9 to all of Final Fantasy titles, I’m sure its the best.. coz you can feel and appreciate the title of FF9 from “Final Fantasy” through the storyline, soundtrack, game play, and again the “storyline” .. I have final fantasy I to IX for my playstation1, and for me, the greatest in this saga is FF9… (“,)

Well I liked FF8 because of the love story, and its romantic love. FF9 was good too. It had a good story, I’d say FF9 has allot of Fantasy. which makes it a really good Final Fantasy..

Yeah I agree. Unfortunately it will be a while, because its popularity is divided. It’s a love story, so the sentiments only come across to those who have the perceptiveness for it. For others, it’s just a “silly teen love crap with no depth to the story and characters”. That’s why some see FF8 to be amongst the worst in the series. It’s a shame because it was impressively put together for this category. I second the motion for a remake!

ive owned and played the game since the day it came out. like AFlfan5656, i have not beaten the game. i refuse to. ive beaten everything and unlocked everything, but i know that when i beat it, ill never want to play it again. one day ill beat it. at my own discresion.

I love the story its the story is one of the most powerful storyline in a rpg game. I think its more Powerful then 7th story. FF8 is my favorite game!

whoa you haven’t finished the game yet?! this is very rare i never thought that there are still some who haven’t finished the game if only my PS was still here i would have played this game again and again i really love the story of this game specially the parts in the 3rd and forth disc ^_^
