   hmmm Hmmm.. dunno. ive watched 10:37-10:44 About 30 times… except… im expressionless. is Something Wrong? i… i kant seem to turn away. hmm at 9:58 the special move states “Emotional Blackmail. But later when she presses the finishing move button her Robot Transforms into a more Giant and powerful one. No i still dont get it.

   ugh why did they never sub persepolis the movie?
   i want to shair it with my friend but shes blind and therfore subtitles are useless on her
   and comic books dont come in brail!

    Its only a scene from a whole movie. It was made in France so its in french but it’s going to be translated to english and brought to america at some point.

    I LOVED the book Persepolis! I really want to see the movie. It looks really good from this scene.

    Also, those aren’t nuns. They’re Muslim. That scene takes place during a time when Iran was in a state of moral fervor, and the social politics of the time were centered around whether or not (and you better act like it in public) you supported traditional Muslim values.

    It’s Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi. About growing up in Iran. Wonderful comic, and the animation adaption looks like it does it justice (I love the voice acting!) ^_^

    I can understand that they’re speaking French in the final flash, but why are they wearing head garmets like Muslims or Indian’s do? Great Cartoon BTW.
