Beethoven – the greatest musician of all time. I wish I could live in an area as beautiful as this, but alas (sigh) I live in the desert.

Actually, the area (Eastern Townships, Quebec, Canada) does have sheep farms but in this specific area it is mostly agriculture. Thanks for stopping by. Peace!

Very nice.
You are lucky to live in or have access to a beautiful uncrowded landscape.
I soon realised it was not Europe – but rural North America is probably more like the Europe of Beethoven’s time than crowded Europe is now.
A pity you do not have any sheep in your area: I always imagined the scene as being of sheep in green fields.

Beautiful music and photography too.
I was introduced to this symphony at age 7 or 8, through my parents having bought their one and only classical LP. The sleeve explained the Scene by the Brook, the cuckoo, the peasants merrymaking and being interrupted by the storm and the thanksgiving for the safety of the flock following the storm. What a perfect introduction to classical music for a child.
It will always remain my favourite symphony.
Thanks so much.

Awesome man… I’ve always wondered where this tune was from. I actually heard a bit of it on the Simpsons and always thought that it was a great melody. Only after searching for music in the episode “Wild Barts Cant Be Broken” did I learn it was actually Beethovens 6th… great music and great video to accompany it.
